Social Justice
Social Justice is the idea that a society is based on the principles in equality and human rights, where all sick are cared for, the environment is treasured, and where we treat one another like human beings. A society that treats everyone as humans beings and not working machines. Functionally, ''justice'' is a set of universal principles which guide people in judging what is right and what is wrong, no matter what culture, society, and neighborhood they come from.
Obstacles that we face while struggling to achieve social justice is getting the people in power to understand the commons' people struggle and why it affects them. Issues such as environmental exploitation, racial discrimination, and health care needs. I believe we find this to be our greater struggle because these people who have the power to change the policies and make a difference for the good do not view life the way we do. They did not have to face the same struggles we did when growing up. Therefore, they only rely on their knowledge that has been through the media.
My vision for struggle is to go fight until the end. I do realize that the fire project will not change the world in less than a month, but I could gain knowledge and strategies that will become beneficial to me in the future. I view struggle as something that we will always have no matter what the issue might be because there will always be those who disagree with what is being change. I do not fear struggle because I know at the end of the victory it will be worth it. Finally, struggle is continuous and I will keep fighting until I see change I want.

There is always a solution!
This ducumentary shows true community activist taking action againt environmental racism in 1992. Small steps make a huge difference but environmental injustice does not solve overnight and this video does a great job in demonstrating that.
